OECD 210: Fish, early stage toxicity test
The Fish, Early-life Stage Toxicity Test is designed to measure possible adverse effects of a substance.
Fertilized fish eggs are placed in five different concentrations of the test substance and observed until a control group is free-feeding. Observations are conducted to determine the highest tolerable concentration of the substance before lethal or sub-lethal effects occur (including fish size, fish behavior and water quality).
This is an standard aquatic ecotoxicology study.
